What's in my street photography camera bag?

Real talk…how many camera bags do we actually own? A suitcase roller thing, a backpack that looks like you’re performing some sort of a military operation, a lot of Peak Design stuff because it just looks cool and a whole lot of other crap. Well, let’s add one more to the closet. The Peak Design Everyday Sling 10L.

I absolutely love this bag! It holds everything I need for a full day of shooting, plus an assortment of essentials.

What’s in my street photography bag?

  • Fuji X-T2

  • Fuji 23mm f/2.0

  • Fuji 35mm f/2.0

  • Fuji 56mm f/1.2’

  • Manfrotto Pixi Mini Tripod

  • Earbuds/headphones

  • IPad Pro 11 Inch with keyboard and Apple Pencil

  • Western Digital My Passport Wireless

  • Phone charger

  • Power bank

  • Extra camera batteries

  • Pelican memory card case

  • Cleaning kit (Lens cloth, lens pen, blower)

This setup not only allows me to be fully engaged in my street shooting, but also allows me to grab a vanilla latte and edit a few photographs, using Lightroom on the IPad. After a little break, I can quickly pack up and get on with the rest of my shooting. The best part of this setup is that it doesn’t look like I’m carrying a bunch of gear on me. It just looks like well, an everyday bag.
